Joining the Bodog Affiliate Program:

What is the Bodog Affiliate Program?

The Bodog Affiliate program is a partnership program where you'll earn commissions based on the wagering activity of players that you refer to Bodog through banners, text links and other content on your website. It's an easy way to generate income from the traffic that you already have on your website.

How do I join?

The Bodog Affiliate Program is free to join. Simply fill out our application form and you will be contacted within 3 business days regarding your acceptance into the program. If your application is accepted, you will receive an email containing your unique affiliate ID, giving you access to banners, text links, and other content and marketing tools to add to your website.

I don't have a website. Can I still apply?

We look at these cases on an individual basis. Prepare a marketing plan outlining your target market, scope, potential, demographic and any previous marketing campaigns. Email affiliates@bodoglife.com for more information.

Can a website outside the United States be an affiliate?

Yes, affiliates are welcome from anywhere in the world. However, commission payments are made in US dollars.

Can I apply for an account offline?

You can only register online through the join form found here, or email affiliates@bodoglife.com with your request.

Can I participate in other Affiliate Programs?

Yes, you are able to join other affiliate programs.

Does Bodog accept all websites?

Our Affiliate team reviews each application and evaluates it for content and suitability for our program. We DO NOT accept websites without their own domain, websites with adult content or any other type of website that is in violation of the law or the ethical standards determined by Bodog.

Do you accept any rakeback websites into the affiliate program?

No, we do not accept any rakeback websites.

How long will it take for my application to be reviewed?

Bodog reviews each application individually. In most instances, your application will be reviewed within three business days.

Where is Bodog located and licensed?

Bodog is licensed by the government of Antigua, and our offices are located in Antigua.

How many links can I have?

You can have as many links to Bodog as you want. The more links you have, the better the likelihood that visitors will click through to Bodog.

Where do I get banners and content?

Once we've accepted your application, we'll set up your account and send you a registration package.  This will include your affiliate ID number, which you will need when selecting banners, text links, and other online promotional tools from the resource section of the Bodog Affiliate Site.

Where should I place links and banners on my site?

You should place the links and banners on the home page or other high traffic pages on your website. The more visibility you give Bodog, the more visitors will see Bodog and click through to open a Bodog account. You can also discuss placement with an Affiliate Account Manager for tips on how you can maximize the exposure of the links to your traffic.

May I use the Bodog logo or content on my website?

As a Bodog Affiliate, you'll have access to a wide variety of graphics and content that you can use on your website. You may not alter or create your own banners or graphics without obtaining permission from Bodog. If you have any questions about graphics, please contact us at affiliates@bodoglife.com.

How do you know that a player came from my website?

We use cookies to track referrals to Bodog. When a visitor to your website clicks through to Bodog from a banner or text link that contains your unique tracking ID, a cookie is dropped on their computer. This cookie tells us how this player came to Bodog, and you are credited with the referral. If a cookie is not dropped on their computer, then we use the information from the "How did you hear about us?" field in the join form to tell us how a player was referred to Bodog.

Does Bodog have a policy on spamming?

Bodog does not accept Affiliates who engage in spam activities. If an Affiliate is using spamming practices to market Bodog, they will have their account closed immediately, and any payments forfeited. Please refer to Bodog's Privacy Policy for more information.

Account Information:

Can I enter more than one website, and should I use the same affiliate ID for all sites?

Yes, you can have multiple websites, and use the same affiliate ID for multiple sites. We can also set up separate tracking codes for each site, so that you can compare how well one site performs compared to other websites.

How do I change my account information?

You need to email affiliatesupport@bodoglife.com with any changes. This includes address information, email addresses and payment method.

How safe and secure is my information?

Your contact information is safe and secure with Bodog. We do not sell or rent your contact information to anyone. Please refer to Bodog's Privacy Policy for more information

I forgot my account number. How do I get it?

Simply email affiliatessupport@bodoglife.com with your account details (name, email address, website URL, etc) and your account number will be emailed to you.

Earnings and Payments:

Do I earn commissions on my own deposits or wagers?

No, you cannot earn commissions on your own account. If you sign up an account with Bodog as a referral of yourself, your account will be removed from your referral portfolio.

Do negatives carry over?

Yes, negative balances will carry over from month to month. You'll need to work off the negative balance before you will be paid.

How are my commissions calculated?

We have two different commission options available:

  1. $100 per Depositing Account
    You'll earn US$100 for each player that joins Bodog and deposits a minimum of US$20 into his or her account.

  2. 25%-40% Net Revenues
    You'll earn between 25% and 40% of net revenues from the Sportsbook, Racebook, Casino and Poker Room, depending on the total net revenue earned per calendar month. Commissions are earned on Sportsbook, Racebook, Casino and Poker wagering activity. The percentage breakdown is as follows:

How is net revenue calculated?

For Sportsbook, Casino and Poker wagers, net revenue is calculated as gross revenue less chargebacks, complimentary money, free money offers and other incentives offered to the customer.

For poker, net revenue is calculated as the sum total of all Players' contribution to all "rakes" the Players were involved in while playing in the Bodog Poker Room, less any credits, (bonus or promotional amounts given to Players), less charge backs or any uncollectible revenue attributable to the Player.

For the racebook, net revenue is calculated as all gross monies from bets made by customers less; monies paid out to Customers as winnings, licensing fees, fraud, charge-backs, bonuses, and other incentives offered to the Customer.

If I have a player who signs up but they aren't one of my referrals, can you change their referral ID to my account?

No, we cannot change referral IDs from one affiliate to another.

How often am I paid?

Commissions are paid out once per month and are processed by the 15th of the month following your earnings month (for example; March's earnings are paid in April). They are paid to the name that you used on the registration form by the payment method chosen on the registration form.

I operate more than one website. Can you track them separately but pay my entire balance with one commission payment?

Yes, we can set up multiple unique tracking IDs that are all part of the same affiliate ID. Email affiliates@bodoglife.com to make your request.

Is there a minimum I need to receive a payment?

The minimum balance to receive a payment is US$500. If commissions are less than US$500, the balance will be held until the next month or until there is a minimum balance of US$500 in your account.

What happens with fraud and charge backs?

If an account is considered fraudulent or has charge backs, it will be disabled. Commissions are not earned on disabled accounts.

What happens if one of my players wins a jackpot?

On every spin on a network progressive jackpot, an allocation is made directly to that jackpot. When a jackpot is won, payment is made from those contributions. These are completely separate accounts. Therefore progressive contributions are not counted as part of gross revenue and neither are progressive payouts. When a progressive jackpot is won it will not affect your earnings.

What are the payment methods?

You can be paid through any of the following payment methods:

  • Your personal Bodog Player Account
  • Moneybookers (non-US partners only)
  • NETeller (non-US partners only)
  • Wire Transfer (non-US partners only, US$25 wire transfer fee)
  • Check by Mail (US partners only)

Can I have my commissions paid into a betting account?

Yes, you can. Email affiliatesupport@bodoglife.com with your Affiliate and Bodog Player account numbers or contact your Affiliate Account Manager.

Can I have my commissions paid into other player's accounts?

No. Bodog only pays commissions to the individual affiliate, and will not transfer funds to other individuals.

Am I guaranteed payment for your banners on my site?

No, you will only earn commissions based on players you refer. You do not earn commissions on impressions or clicks.

How can I see my statistics and earnings?

Each month you'll be able to view your earnings statement online, outlining your referral's wagering activity for the month and your commissions earned. Unique reports can also be sent on a per request basis.

You can view player sign ups and activity statistics for a given time period by logging into our online reporting tool using your affiliate ID number and password. Affiliates on both CPA and Revenue share programs can view all relevant data from which commissions will be derived, and the reports are updated daily.

Can I view my traffic stats such as the number of clicks and conversions?

As we continue to develop our backend system for our affiliates, we will be integrating banner stats and click-throughs to the reporting for affiliates.

Can you give me more information about the players I have referred?

Protecting the privacy of Bodog players is of the utmost importance. When opening an account these players know that their information is safe, and that's why they continue to play. We do provide the account numbers of players so that our affiliates can track individual players over time.

Miscellaneous

Can I have a private poker tournament?

YES! We encourage our affiliates to develop unique initiatives to grow their business and create customer loyalty within their sites. Depending on the goals of your tournaments you can either run a one off private tournament with a buy-in or as a freeroll, or a leader board style tournament - you decide! These tournaments offer players the opportunity to test drive the Bodog interface, and can be the extra push needed in getting people to sign up. We require about a 2 week lead time and there are a few requirements.

If I sell my website can I sell my sheet of players too?

When the ownership of your website changes, the ownership of that website's sheet of players does not necessarily follow suit. Prior to a change of ownership please contact your Affiliate Account Manager.
